Coconut Joe’s hired me to update their branding, and create this colorful, beach-themed t-shirt design to promote their line of natural sun-care products.
After we redesigned their logo, we conceptualized a few different beach t-shirt designs before moving forward with this illustration focusing on a sea turtle swimming in a reef. The client wanted a fun, light-hearted look that they could take to conventions and sell in their shops.
Here’s the finished #poster I was commissioned to design for the new #documentary about the #Phyrst bar in #StateCollege, Pennsylvania by #BlueWhiteTV. The client wanted a crazy vintage #60’s color scheme to set the tone for the theme so I went with lots of yellows and purples. Awesome to be a part of this production! Illustrations for a novel I created in a shorthand style that was very different for me, using black and white ink and watercolor wash.
The book was an adventure story for young adults, and the author needed many small black and white illustrations that could carry the story along and set the scenes. I had a lot of fun with this style, as it let me be looser and create the illustrations more quickly.

Weird and fun commission poster I illustrated of a Venus Fly Trap emerging from a toilet in a decrepit bathroom chomping on a guitar.
The artwork was done on request for a private collector who packed this piece with symbolism that probably only makes sense to him, haha. But sometimes, that can be the most fun, to just draw and explore, and not be so pinned down to reality. This was created completely in Manga Studio, and I published a live digital painting demonstration on YouTube as I worked.
