#SonsofAnarchy tribute illustration I created – one of our all-time favorite shows. I thought it would be fun to have the #grimreaper on the back of Jax’s jacket coming to life.Illustrated by Brian Allen, https://www.flylanddesigns.com/#SOA #mangastudio #photoshop #illustration #art #instaart #instaartist
#DontTreadOnMe #eagle and #snake I illustrated for a client’s line of #patriotic vinyl #decals. This is my favorite one to date – available for licensing if anyone is interested.Illustrated by Brian Allen, https://www.flylanddesigns.com/#decal #viynl #patriotic #mangastudio #photoshop #illustration #art #instaart #instaartist
Custom #vector #mascot #Rhino I created for #RedEyeRhino, the competition dart brand for use marketing their products and apparel. The client approached me with an outdated Rhino mascot that they wanted pumped up – so we came up with this guy, wearing one of their signature jerseys and clutching a handful of darts. Angry mascots are kind of my thing.Illustrated by Brian Allen, https://www.flylanddesigns.com/#character #mangastudio #photoshop #illustration #art #instaart #instaartist
Client:
American Oil Apparel
Description:
Illustration of a couple of hard-working roughneck skeletons pumping oil in the Bakken oil fields. The client wanted a huge grinning demon in the clouds, reminiscent of some of the Iron Maiden album covers I’ve always been a fan of.

Plates of Fire
Description:
There’s a cooking-face-off show called Plates on Fire that I recently got to design the logo for. They really liked a previous fire-fighter leprechaun I had designed, and we based their character off of that. I set up the design for silk-screening for their upcoming marketing campaign.
Happy #monk and #lotus flower I illustrated in this – I’m really enjoying a new approach to my artwork which involves fewer, bold outlines, and then a painterly rendering under the lines using the blending brushes in Manga Studio.Illustrated by Brian Allen, https://www.flylanddesigns.com/#psychedelic #monk #mangastudio #photoshop #illustration #art #instaart #instaartist
Can you guys help me decide which logo type is best here? I’m going to try to build my own brand of clothing targeting the patriotic/military/police/firefighter market, and I’m trying to design a bold logotype I can use as a watermark over the artwork. If you think this name is lame, then you can GiiiiiiiiT OUUUUT!!!
Client:
Club Red
Description:
Series of illustrations I created for a submission to Cabella’s – the snake and guns design was picked and will be available in the stores soon. It’s always a challenge for me to draw something realistic like this snake while only using a few colors (for silk-screening). Happy with how it turned out.
Bass fishing illustrations I created for Take A Break clothing. We wanted to take a sort of harder, more stylized and graphic edge to these designs, in contrast to the hyper-realistic renderings out there. These were separated for silk-screen by the client – I took care to use only a limited number of colors in the design to make that easier. I have a couple in my closet – they turned out great.
Client:
Hulk Hogan
Description:
Super humbling to be able to work for one of my childhood heroes, Hulk Hogan. They hired me to create a series of tribute illustrations to the late Andre the Giant commemorating their famous face-off. Very easy guy to work with, and tons of fun, BROTHER!
Custom #logo design I created for the rock music website #HardRockDaddy of a mohawk doting #skull with wings. The client wanted something iconic and with a lot of character, so that we could later create a storyline with the mascot in different situations for t-shirts and other promotional items. The mohawk is a signature trait of the owner of the brand – we made it a vibrant blue, which will be carried out through all of the website’s branding. We cycled through several different compositions and angles until we got it just right.Illustrated by Brian Allen, https://www.flylanddesigns.com/#mangastudio #photoshop #illustration #art #instaart #instaartist
Client wanted me to change the 3/4 view skull to a front-facing skull for their #logo – when the worst part of your day is having to draw another #skull, it’s hard to complain!Illustrated by Brian Allen, https://www.flylanddesigns.com/#vector #mangastudio #photoshop #illustration #art #instaart #instaartist

Nightmare On Chicago Street
Description:
Very pleased to have worked on this gig poster for the Nightmare on Chicago Street 2017 concert! So happy with how this turned out – it was extremely challenging for me. Four blocks of the town are shut down and filled with zombies, macabre props, and four stages for bands. It is so much fun. They even invited me to the event to sell my artwork, which I gladly accepted!
Thanks for all the positive feedback on my new Adobe Photoshop brushes – based on my popular brushes created for Clip Studio Paint. Here’s a video showing some of the 100+ brushes here that I use everyday as a professional illustrator. Let me know what you think if you pick them up! Hip hop gangster rappers as children who are tattooed and ready to party. The design was for apparel and a vehicle wrap for the russefeiring tradition. If you haven’t heard of it, basically russefeiring involves an entire class of Norwegian students renting a bus (a Russebuss), painting every inch of it with really cool street art, and then partying in it night and day for an entire month during graduation. The different classes wear their designs ever where they go as they clash with rival classes. I’ve done a bunch of these now, and really enjoy it. FDNY
Description:
I’ve been asked to design a fair number of logos for fire departments, but this is by far my favorite. I drew this intense devil holding a hose and tools coming out of a Maltese cross for a fire station in NY.
Client:
Discraft
Description:
One of my favorite recent projects involved creating a series of labels for these disc golf frisbees by Discraft for their Halloween catalog. We took their famous Bee mascot, and drew him in the likeness of famous movie monsters, like Leatherface and Jason from Friday the 13th. We also created a one-color foil version too.
Broke out the #ink #brush and #pen to draw this tribute to the legendary #Jackass crew, who taught us all right from very wrong. $75 plus shipping if anyone wants this in their life.Illustrated by Brian Allen, https://www.flylanddesigns.com/#cartoon #mangastudio #photoshop #illustration #art #instaart #instaartist
