Ericsson
Description:
The telecommunications company Ericsson hired me to design two viking mascots that they could use for internal marketing that looked like linemen with their typical set of linemen gear.
It was a fun challenge to merge the two different eras and costume styles. I designed a male and female, and layered everything in a way to make it easy to reuse the graphics for a lot of different applications for the company. We started with a series of three sketches for each mascot, to flesh out how we wanted the character to look, and what pose we wanted them in.

Could not have done a better job my man, thanks so much!!!

It’s a fun challenge designing for such a small space (only a couple inches) – so I try to use bold colors and lines so you can really get a feel for the detail, and distinguish each flavor from the next.

Samurai illustration I created for a line of wrestling singlets for Titan Fitness that I was pretty happy with – I kind of wish I could have gone into more detail on this, but we didn’t have much time, so I tried to keep things simpler, which ultimately will print better on the singlet anyway.#wrestlingsinglet #samuraiart #samurai #fitness #fitspo #gainz #getstrong #weightraining #shredding

Hollywood Motor Show
Description:
My artwork has been used on a lot of big things – now I can say that my artwork is on a Monster Truck! I designed this rabid monkey in a racing suit for a Spanish Monster Truck driver that will wrap the entire vehicle. Can’t wait to see this thing caked in mud! A lot of the competing monster trucks were using simple vector graphics, so the driver came to me to create something more detailed and with more character.
Client Testimonial:
Thank you! I really like your design!! You do great work!

Ammannati Band
Description:
Check out this evil skull emerging from the galaxy to devour the earth, for the band called Ammannait! This is one of my favorite album covers I designed ever! I sketched a bunch of concepts that I thought the band would like ever listening to their music. This one was the simplest, but definitely the strongest. Rather than adding a lot of details, I focused more on the color scheme and a strong layout, and I think it paid off well.
Client Testimonial:
No words, AWESOME! You are the best!!!!
-Damiano

Our design won FIRST PLACE! This wrap design I created using my tiki artwork won first place in a vehicle wrap competition 360 Carshow!Diamond wraps did a hell of a great job printing this on vinyl and wrapping their beautiful truck in the design. They even customized an amazing bamboo truck bed that looks just beautiful. Using their photos and measurements, I created a template of the vehicle, and carefully designed the text and artwork layout to fill the unique shape of this low-rider truck. So proud to have won first place!#wrap #vinylwrap #decal #tiki #beach #tikiart

The design was for apparel and a vehicle wrap for the russefeiring tradition. If you haven’t heard of it, basically russefeiring involves an entire class of Norwegian students renting a bus (a Russebuss), painting every inch of it with really cool street art, and then partying in it night and day for an entire month during graduation. The different classes wear their designs ever where they go as they clash with rival classes. I’ve done a bunch of these now, and really enjoy it.
Skull logo design I illustrated for this cool company called Chrome Candy that manufactures custom handles for pinball machines, and other cool arcade parts. We went through a couple sketches to get the right look at the beginning, and ended up with this happy skull chomping after a piece fo pinball candy…..#logodesign #logodesigner #logoconcept #logoart #logoinspiration#art #originalartwork #mangastudio #clipstudiopaint #illustration #hireanillustrator #freelanceartist #wacomcintiq
Anyone familiar with the Unlimited Off-Road shows that happen across the US? I got to design their logo for the Crystal Beach event in Texas – really nice and fun guys who run this thing. Always fun to explore totally new industries as a freelancer and learn the culture.#logodesign #logodesigner #logoconcept #logoart #logoinspiration #jeeplife #atv #unlimitedoffroad
This was a rejected sketch I was working on for a client (just the result of a miscommunication). I really dug it – I might finish it up sometime in the future. I save all the rejected sketches I have in a sad, depressing folder of shame. I find I can often reuse most ideas in other situations, so it helps to never throw them away completely. Does anyone do anything similar?‍…#art #alligator #jungleart #mangastudio #clipstudiopaint #illustration #tshirtdesign #tshirtart #hireanillustrator #freelanceartist #wacomcintiq

One of the coolest moments of my career: Hulk Hogan himself signing the illustration he hired me to create, now proudly hanging in my studio. I’ve been working at a freelance artist constantly for almost seven years now, and it’s not an easy path. There are huge ups and down – so I’m not going to lie, it’s so great to have some of these moments every once in a while to let you know you’re at least making an impact somewhere!….#hulkhogan #wweart #wweartwork #andrethegiant #worldwidewrestling #wwenetwork #appareldesign #tshirtdesign #tshirtartist #screenprintart#art #originalartwork #mangastudio #clipstudiopaint #illustration #hireanillustrator #freelanceartist #wacomcintiq
One of my favorite projects from last year: a t-shirt illustration for Crytivo Games’ hit title “The Universim”, a really cool world building game. If you’ve ever played the game before, you’ll recognize these cute little spherical people that are the inhabitants of the world you build. It was challenging to give the characters emotion and energy without using mouths (not to mention feet!). The illustration was used for a t-shirt and poster for the Gamescom conference. @crytivo#appareldesign #tshirtdesign #tshirtartist #screenprintart #dtg#art #gameart #mangastudio #clipstudiopaint #illustration #hireanillustrator #freelanceartist #wacomcintiq
