Parody illustration featuring a bevy of the fun and colorful monster characters from Pixar’s Monster Inc.!
The design was for apparel and a vehicle wrap for the russefeiring tradition. If you haven’t heard of it, basically russefeiring involves an entire class of Norwegian students renting a bus (a Russebuss), painting every inch of it with really cool street art, and then partying in it night and day for an entire month during graduation. The different classes wear their designs ever where they go as they clash with rival classes. I’ve done a bunch of these now, and really enjoy it.

My Australian friends at Vape Nation hired me to illustrate this t-shirt design with the Kiwi bird mascot we created for their logo previously.
It’s pretty challenging making a Kiwi bird look tough, but I tried my best. This t-shirt design was set up for limited color silk-screen.
This is a detailed series of illustrations I created for a children’s book teaching kids about construction. Each double-page spread was packed with animal characters, vehicles, tools, and activities. The book challenges kids to hunt out objects and solve problems within the illustration, so I had to draw everything in a way that certain elements were intentionally hard to find. I had a lot of fun with this, because I had a lot of freedom to design the characters and draw them in my style.

….turned out great! Awesome job!

The anti-phishing and computer technicians at Phishlure hired me to create their new logo. They wanted to use an evil-looking anglerfish as their mascot, symbolizing the nasty habits hackers use to lure in their innocent customers. I really wanted to color this in a non-traditional way and use a pretty wild color scheme, and wanted to really add a lot of nastiness to the angler. I provided the logo in several different color schemes – all the way from a simple one-color logo, to a vibrant full-color version.
I was hired to illustrate and design a series of characters and backgrounds for an e-commerce website. The characters were all cartoon “blockheads” that interact with the hand-drawn user-interface we designed for the website. It was a fun challenge to come up with interesting layouts that didn’t compete with the functionality of the website. This website is still under development – I’ll post the link soon.
I created this detailed cartoon scene of football fans, cheerleaders, and players in a stadium parking lot for Coolbone It, a company that creates really cool looking customized coolers. The coolers wrap full-color graphics around the entire surface of the cooler, making it a piece of artwork. This design was an incredible challenge, because there were so many characters to draw, and I had to create the design in a way that could be repeated seamlessly on each end, so it could wrap around he cooler. I’m very pleased with how this turned out.
Coolbone
Custom illustration I created of two military parrots at the beach, for graphic wraps designed for coolers, for Coolbone. This was a very fun and challenging project, trying to design a graphic highly detailed graphic that would repeat, and could wrap around all sides of the cooler. Looking forward to working on more.

Custom illustration I created for a new book by Des Parker called Lord of the Zombies. The illustration features all the main characters fighting a horde of zombies.
The book is a very fun and humorous take on the Zombie Apocalypse. And yes, that is a duck slicing through a zombie – you definitely have to read this book. Coming soon to Amazon.
I am blown away. It is brilliant, you have done a stunning job. It is one of the best cover illustrations I have ever seen.
Mascot design and illustration for Benner Elementary School I created in conjunction with Lake Creative.
Shannon Lake and I were tasked with reinventing their bear mascot into something fun and colorful that the children could identify with. This was a really fun personal project, because my son Michael just started Kindergarten at this school. It’s a really cool feeling to walk in the school and see kids here and there wearing the T-Shirt. Michael loves wearing it, though it’s a couple sizes too big for him!
