I had such a fun time creating this rotten apple design. I did it in the same style as the evil mushrooms design I did a few years ago.

Description:
The design was for apparel and a vehicle wrap for the russefeiring tradition. If you haven’t heard of it, basically russefeiring involves an entire class of Norwegian students renting a bus (a Russebuss), painting every inch of it with really cool street art, and then partying in it night and day for an entire month during graduation. The different classes wear their designs ever where they go as they clash with rival classes. I’ve done a bunch of these now, and really enjoy it.

Description:
Another fun design I created for the leaders of disc golf equipment, Discraft, of a crazed zombie cyborg, because cyborg’s are zombies, too!
We designed a full-color version, as well as a single color foil option. The discs have become collectors editions, and I’m always thrilled when Discraft sends me a box of the discs with my artwork on them. Really cool to see the art come to life!

Crimshaw Band
Description:
The heavy metal band Crimshaw commissioned me to illustrate each member of the band as classic movie monsters based on their personalities for their new album.
It’s always such a fun challenge to draw the likenesses of people I’ve never met, just based on a few photographs. Luckily, turning them into savage creatures masks any errors.
Fight fire with fire! Satan hangs up his devious ways and and joins the fire department in true bad-ass fashion. I really had fun with this one!
All of the images are high-resolution, at least 14 inches tall/wide, and are separated from their backgrounds.
Once you purchase a license to an image, I will send you a layered Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator file (depending on the type of artwork), along with a licensing agreement.
I can also modify the images (ie. place them on templates, add your logo, change colors) for an additional fee.

Nightmare On Chicago Street
Description:
Very pleased to have worked on this gig poster for the Nightmare on Chicago Street 2017 concert! So happy with how this turned out – it was extremely challenging for me. Four blocks of the town are shut down and filled with zombies, macabre props, and four stages for bands. It is so much fun. They even invited me to the event to sell my artwork, which I gladly accepted!
Speed painting in Manga Studio 5 and Adobe Photoshop.
Official Alien illustration I created for the backglass of the new Limited Edition Pinball Machine licensed from 20th Century Fox and built by Heighway Pinball.
Here is the Inking of my Nightmare on Chicago Street 2017 gig poster. It was fun to go to this outdoor concert, The streets were turned into something that you would see on the Walking Dead.

I had fun doing this illustration of the characters from the movie Donnie Darko for a Russ group.

Evil Fish and Lure T-Shirt Design
Illustration I created for a new apparel line showcasing the lures by Rapala for fisherman. The brand wanted something really edgy and dark, so we gave the fish a pretty menacing look. It’s always a fun challenge taking on a detailed scene like this when limited to a smaller silk-screen palette. This design was set up with halftones.

Bukshot
Description:
I illustrated this promotional poster and album cover for the hip-hop artist Bukshot who partnered with Violent J from The Insane Clown Posse, Madchild, and JellyRoll. The album was a special edition, and released in a DVD sized package, which allowed me to create a cool portrait orientation, instead of having to squeeze everything into a tiny square. Bukshot wanted the four artists illustrated as comic book characters, fighting a horde of zombies. I enjoyed this so much!

The band Hang The Jester hired me to create this detailed illustration of an evil jester made of a skull and horns for their latest album cover. The band asked me to create something with a very liited color scheme, and a lot of pen and ink detail. Unlike many of my other designs which are often 100% digital, I drew and inked this design on paper with technical pens and a brush.

Evil Mad Hatter character illustration I, created for a logo for a Russefeiring team. I thoguht it would be fun to have an eyeball floating in the tea cup. The design will be wrapped on vehicles, printed on apparel, and used on the class’ website. Book cover illustration of a zombie usher enjoying a fresh box of buttered brains in a movie theater I illustrated for Phillip Cerreta’s new movie trivia book, “The Monster Book of Movie Monster Trivia.” The client came to me with the idea of having a zombie in a theater enjoying a box of brains as if it were popcorn, and I thought it would be funny to dress him up in a tattered usher’s uniform. I love finding new ways to draw zombies!

Digitally painted t-shirt illustration of an evil skull with wings and barbaric weapons I created for the dark apparel company Spiral Direct. Illustration of a zombie police officer I created in Manga Studio and Adobe Photoshop for a motorcycle club of state troopers for their club seal and apparel. This was based on a similar design I created a couple years ago with a digitally painted zombie gunslinger. It was a lot of fun to revisit the same concept, but in a different style, and with my skills improved a little.

M.A.S. Productions
Description:
I illustrated this dark detailed illustration of an epic battle between Freddy, Leatherface, Nosferatu, The Excorsist, Frankenstein, Kirk Hammet, Ozzy, Alice Cooper, Corey Taylor, and more for a documentary on the history of Metal and Horror.
I was hired by Producer Mike Schiff of M.A.S. Productions to create an illustration of some of the most iconic figures in horror and heavy metal engaging in an epic battle. The image was used to promote a documentary they produced which explores the history of heavy metal music, horror films, and how the two genres have merged together over time.
The documentary features interviews with Alice Cooper, Kirk Hammett, Corey Taylor, plus a ton of other heavy metal stars, along with huge names in the horror industry. It was so great getting the chance to illustrate these iconic figures, including Freddy, Leatherface, Nosferatu, Ozzy, Alice Cooper, Kirk Hammet, and more. Pieces of the illustration were also used for an animation promoting the documentary.

The 2nd book in a chidren’s book series about Zombies I illustrated for Wendy Knuth. I’m very proud of this 32 page story featuring a whole family of creepy but fun zombies driving around town and getting into trouble. I had a lot of fun drawing zombies in a very different way than I typically do. Can’t wait to read this to my kids!
I created this fun t-shirt design for Commando Racing Gear – a hardcore skeleton! We went through a couple different [and equally exciting] designs but eventually settled on this one. I had a lot of fun with this!

This is a fun album cover illustration I created for a hard rock band called the Jokers for their new album, Hurricane. The idea was to have the band in a classic-looking car flying through the air to their next gig, and causing a hurricane behind them, destroying London below them. I tried to hide a lot of detail into the design swirling around them in the hurricane, like roadies, amps, guitars, and british artifacts. The band needed the album art in a really short amount of time, but we pulled it off in time, and they were quite happy with the result.
Client Testimonial:
…it all looks amazing, we are really really happy with the final product.

The Jokers
I designed and illustrated this angry gargoyle busting out of its stone skin for a line of ATV and sled wraps put out by 393 Components. It was a challenge to position everything and design it in a way to make the design look interesting on as many different vehicle types and shapes as possible. I kept all the elements in layers so that the design could be modified if necessary to fit different wraps. I needed to make it look as different as possible from a previous gargoyle design I had done, so I came up with the idea of having the gargoyle a green-skinned creature bursting from stone, as if it was coming to life.
It was really cool to be working with graphic decals again for ATVs, because my first full-time position as an artist was at a custom decal shop called XGX Racing.
Client Testimonial:
Just wanted to thank you again for an outstanding job

I wanted to create a an illustration as a sample to try to get work from young-adult fantasy book publishers, a market that I’d like to do more work in. I chose a scene with an adventurer in an Aztec-like jungle temple so I could draw some funny and creepy totems – and I even got to sneak a skull in there too! I like to try different styles and themes whenever I can – keeps things from getting stale. I’m happy with how this turned out, and would like to do more in this genre.

Album cover I illustrated for the Brazilian heavy metal band John Wayne (named after John Wayne Gacy – not the other guy). It was a great pleasure working on this with the band, as they gave me a lot of freedom, and I set upon the design without much planning, and tried to let it flow. This album cover is the first in a set of two albums, that when placed together will form one cohesive image. This album represents the dark side, while the following album will have a similar design, but mirrored, and “lighter.”

We are very happy with your great work!

I created this mascot and logo design for a team of drag-racer’s new line of merchandise and apparel. The client wanted a tough, dark, militant mascot character that could later be drawn in other situations and shenanigans. We went through a few sketches at the beginning that were a bit too light, and eventually arrived at RAD, the skeletal, drag-racing warrior you see before you! The mascot and logo was prepared for both limited color silk-screening and full-color printing, to maximize the usage.

This is a very detailed illustrated album cover I created for the heavy metal band called DemonHead. The idea was to have a troubled kid rolling a 12-sided die that causes catastrophe behind him. With each roll bring a different type of destruction. I tried to have fun with it and cram in as much chaos as I could.
Client Testimonial:
Thanks so much for the work I think it came out really well and will look awesome. It was a pleasure working with you. Couldn’t be happier with the end result!

I was hired to illustrate this T-Shirt design for one of my favorite clients, Darkhorse Fightwear, for their new line of MMA apparel. The design was set up for silk-screen using three colors, and illustrated in Manga Studio and Adobe Photoshop. The design was inspired by a previous illustration I created a few years ago – it was fun to revisit it and test out some new skills while illustrating it. The design features a skull in the center with wings and chains surrounding.
Bluechip Athletics hired me to design and illustrate graphics for their Aggression apparel line for wrestlers. The first design was this evil gargoyle perched on a rooftop in a storm. Since the wrestling singlets are printed with dye-sublimation, I could design in full-color, and cover every inch of the fabric.
Custom illustration I created for a website splash page and fantasy game. I was asked to draw the game’s heroes, who are infected with a mutating virus, along with their sidekicks: a zombie jaguar and a zombie bear. The client and I invisioned a world where not even the plant-life has escaped being mutated by the zombie virus.
I created this in Manga Studio and Adobe Photoshop.
This is a fun illustration I created of a tiki man riding a dirtbike for the brand Accidental Broadcast. The brand centers around a popular Youtube personality, Kalani Prince, who films the island of Hawaii from the back of his dirtbike.
Kalani gave me a lot of freedom with the design. Since this was the brand’s first design, I thought it would be a good idea to introduce his personality as this Tiki character, with an attractive hula girl hanging tight.
I also designed the a logo to match the design for his brand.
Graphic mascot illustration I created in Manga Studio and Photoshop of any angry wolf head, created for Great Dane Graphics.

T-Shirt illustration I created for Spiral Direct of a warrior confronting an evil dragon. I digitally painted this illustration in Adobe Photoshop and Manga Studio 5. This piece was very challenging for me, because of the complex lighting. The client and I went through several revisions, which in the end really improved on the piece. Available from Spiral Direct.
Zombie label illustrations I created for Vaping Sisters’ new line of eJuice flavors. The client gave me the names of the eight flavors, and I had to design and illustrate a different character for each. The labels themselves are only about 2.5 inches tall, so I had to design the characters with a lot of contrast and bright colors so they could be legible at such a small size. The flavors are sold online and in their shop.
Dark Horse Fightwear
T-Shirt design I created for the MMA apparel company, Dark Horse Apparel, featuring a set of demon and angel wings on the back. I’ve seen T-Shirt designs with wings on the back before that I really liked, so I tried to approach this one by adding my own stylistic input wherever I could. I put most of that into the abstract handling of the “spine” down the back.
This design was set up for silk-screening with 4 colors.
T-Shirt design I created of a mushroom cloud shaped fire skull for Nuke Proof Tools. The image will be used on banners and T-Shirts for the company’s tradeshows and events. The client had seen a mushroom cloud skull design I did years ago, and wanted something similar. It was fun to go back and work on the same concept, and have the chance to make imrpovements.
Hard Ride Saloon
Custom T-Shirt illustration for Hard Ride Saloon called “American Patriot.” The client wanted something patriotic and dark, so we came up with this image of a skeleton soldier holding a rifle. This design was set up for silk-screening, 4 colors.
Die Cry Hate
I was hired by Die Cry Hate, a spin-off of the Live Laugh Love apparel brand, to create some new T-Shrits for their line. I was given a lot of freedom in the designs, which is always a lot of fun. This design is set up for silk-screening, about four colors.
