In the true spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, we have a skeleton leprechaun firefighter, complete with an

The design was for apparel and a vehicle wrap for the russefeiring tradition. If you haven’t heard of it, basically russefeiring involves an entire class of Norwegian students renting a bus (a Russebuss), painting every inch of it with really cool street art, and then partying in it night and day for an entire month during graduation. The different classes wear their designs ever where they go as they clash with rival classes. I’ve done a bunch of these now, and really enjoy it.

Fight fire with fire! Satan hangs up his devious ways and and joins the fire department in true bad-ass fashion. I really had fun with this one!

Plates of Fire
Description:
There’s a cooking-face-off show called Plates on Fire that I recently got to design the logo for. They really liked a previous fire-fighter leprechaun I had designed, and we based their character off of that. I set up the design for silk-screening for their upcoming marketing campaign.

FDNY
Description:
I’ve been asked to design a fair number of logos for fire departments, but this is by far my favorite. I drew this intense devil holding a hose and tools coming out of a Maltese cross for a fire station in NY.
I had fun creating this Manhattan Project Russ Logo. The design was for apparel and a vehicle wrap for the russefeiring tradition. Illustration of a possessed looking witch dr. was created for a Russ group. I used darker colors for the Witch Dr to give him a more menacing look and used brighter color for the fire behind him and the tiki heads

St. George’s Gym
Description:
Logo design of a knight and dragon I created for a gym called St. George’s Gym. The client wanted something unique and very detailed that he could silk-screen on merchandise, and have painted on the wall of the gym. I created this logo in a simple three-color version, as well as a detailed full-color version, which is typically how I provide logos.

Celtic Warriors
Description:
T-Shirt illustration I created of a skeleton riding a chopper through flames for the motorcycle club Celtic Warriors. It’s always a pleasure to work on direct-to-garment T-Shirts, because I don’t have to hold back on colors.
Signed art prints of the design will also be auctioned off to support the client’s local police force, of which he is a member.

T-Shirt design I created of a mushroom cloud shaped fire skull for Nuke Proof Tools. The image will be used on banners and T-Shirts for the company’s tradeshows and events. The client had seen a mushroom cloud skull design I did years ago, and wanted something similar. It was fun to go back and work on the same concept, and have the chance to make imrpovements.

Ron Clark Academy
Description:
Custom mascot illustration of a dragon I designed for the Ron Clark Academy. We started with a few thumbnail sketches, and initially started off with the dragon looking more cartoonish, but decided instead to make the mascot fierce and intimidating. The logo was designed in several different variations, from simple to complex, so it could be used for many different types of applications.

This is an illustration I created of a viking mascot for a soccer team shirt. The artwork was set up for direct to garment, which allowed me to really go nuts with the color variations and detail. Created for Great Dane Graphics.com.

Dragonfire Aesthetics Ltd.
Description:
Logo design I created for a wieghtlifting apparel company in Manchester, UK called Dragonfire Aesthetics, of a red pumped-up weightlifting dragon.
Designing this logo was a fun challenge, because the client wanted to include a lot of elements with a lot of detail (the dragon, weightlifting, tail, muscles, and lots and lots of fire).
When we were finished, I created the logo in a lot of different formats and variations, all the way from a simple one-color design for embroidery to a full-color, fully rendered design for his website.
