A towering haunted mansion looks menacing in front of a full moon. Even more menacing than the building? The three horror icons looming in front of it! The design was for apparel and a vehicle wrap for the russefeiring tradition. If you haven’t heard of it, basically russefeiring involves an entire class of Norwegian students renting a bus (a Russebuss), painting every inch of it with really cool street art, and then partying in it night and day for an entire month during graduation. The different classes wear their designs ever where they go as they clash with rival classes. I’ve done a bunch of these now, and really enjoy it. A horrifying creature emerges from the dark, his talons razor sharp and eyes bright.

Arctic FX
Description:
Grim Reaper gunslinger illustration I created for a vinyl graphic wrap for snowmobiles sold by Arctic FX for a new brand they are developing. I illustrated a skeleton gunslinger on the front, and a creepy western-styled Grim Reaper on the sides. I love designing for vehicles, because they are such oddly shaped canvases to fill. The new line of graphics will be branded “FlyLand Designs” in a partnership I was fortunate enough to work out with them. Feeling very privileged to be included in their stable of really skilled artists.
Description:
An awesome tribute and parody to the infamous “The Shining” Stephen King book and film. The iconic twins in matching blue dresses stare impassively alongside a full moon, axe murderer, psychic boy, and the words ‘redeem’ written in blood. The design was for apparel and a vehicle wrap for the russefeiring tradition. I am excited to share a speed inking and coloring Video of the Necronomicon I illustrated for an officially licensed Evil Dead 2 line of apparel. I am very happy with how it turned out!

Bukshot
Description:
I illustrated this promotional poster and album cover for the hip-hop artist Bukshot who partnered with Violent J from The Insane Clown Posse, Madchild, and JellyRoll. The album was a special edition, and released in a DVD sized package, which allowed me to create a cool portrait orientation, instead of having to squeeze everything into a tiny square. Bukshot wanted the four artists illustrated as comic book characters, fighting a horde of zombies. I enjoyed this so much!

Description:
A series of character concept turn-arounds I illustrated for a series of vinyl zombie figurines that will be manufactured and sold in a catalog. This isn’t the first time I’ve created turn-arounds for figurines, but it’s the first zombie series. I can’t wait to see how the final molded and painted models turn out. To make this as efficient as possible, I first sent sketches to the client for just the front view. Once approved, I used a 3D model in Manga Studio, positioned it close to the position of the front view, and then turned it to the side and back. I then drew the other angles using that model as reference. Pretty effective little trick!

V & R Publishing
Description:
This is a book cover I created for a series of fantasy/horror novels featuring a the strong female lead Allison Hewitt. She goes on adventures slaying zombies with her trusty hatchet. The cover was really fun to work on, because the author loved my style and wanted the cover to have a pop art/ serial horror magazine look.

Description:
I illustrated this dark detailed illustration of an epic battle between Freddy, Leatherface, Nosferatu, The Excorsist, Frankenstein, Kirk Hammet, Ozzy, Alice Cooper, Corey Taylor, and more for a documentary on the history of Metal and Horror.
I was hired by Producer Mike Schiff of M.A.S. Productions to create an illustration of some of the most iconic figures in horror and heavy metal engaging in an epic battle. The image was used to promote a documentary they produced which explores the history of heavy metal music, horror films, and how the two genres have merged together over time.
The documentary features interviews with Alice Cooper, Kirk Hammett, Corey Taylor, plus a ton of other heavy metal stars, along with huge names in the horror industry. It was so great getting the chance to illustrate these iconic figures, including Freddy, Leatherface, Nosferatu, Ozzy, Alice Cooper, Kirk Hammet, and more. Pieces of the illustration were also used for an animation promoting the documentary.
Client Testimonial:
Incredible job on this. I knew you’d create something amazing , and holy crap is this good.
