This big green dog character ripping through a box I drew is for a logo design for the distribution service, Box Busters.
The client wanted something over-the-top and in-your-face to appeal to his customer base, who are anything but subtle. I drew a caricature of his pet. The business is cannabis themed, but we had to find creative ways to not exploit that theme too much.

The Jack Herer Cup is a cannabis rewards event held every year in Las Vegas to honor the “Emperor of Hemp”, the legendary cannabis rights activist himself, Jack Herer. It was a ton of fun to have the privilege to design this year’s poster featuring Jack Herer and Tommy Chong, surrounded by sentient marijuana buds. So excited to be part of this great event in Vegas, and possibly meet the legend Tommy Chong! I hope I did the portrait of Mr. Herer justice – a lot of pressure when dealing with such an important and revered figure!
Psychedelic and trippy colorful image of a blue-skinned many armed god meditating and transcending the realm. He achieves nirvana even as he floats alone on an island of land.

Custom Eagle logo I created for a cannabis brand overseas called High Times.
Because of the regulations in their country, we had to find a way to connect the logo with the marijuana industry subtly, which we tried to accomplish with the colors, and the “happy” expression on the eagle’s face.
Here’s something fun I created for a client of mine for his new album called Ancient Future. He wanted the members drawn as caricatures in a trippy garden.
Seed-grower and packager Death Row Seeds hired me to illustrate this logo design for their website and packaging, of a friendly escaped convict proudly showing off his horticulture skills.
Seed cultivator Hammerhead Genetics hired me recently to design a new logo and mascot for their marijuana seed growing business.
We experimented with a few different looks and poses for the shark, and landed on this happier fella you see here.
Silly Trix parody I illustrated of our favorite cereal-obsessed rabbit enjoying a bowl of shatter, designed for a limited color silk-screen shirt, separated using halftones.

Honesty Seeds, a cannabis seed grower, and distributor hired me to create a fun seed character for their new logo to drive their packaging and marketing.
We had a lot of fun exploring different attitudes and poses for the character, and ended up going with something friendly and a bit goofy. I used a traditional font and banner design to give it an organic feel.
Album cover I created for the artist Brian Blake of Zion Train for his album entitled True Love.I was hired to draw the likeness of the artist driving a train hauling hemp and other goodies through a colorful landscape.
Here is another T-Shirt I designed in a series of marijuana strain related illustrations – this one celebrates Grand Daddy Purps, by illustrating him as a purple magical old man wearing suspenders.Drawn in Manga Studio, and separated for limited color silk-screen using halftones.
I illustrated this t-shirt design for Bongjour in conjunction with the popular Chief Greenbud to celebrate his song “It’s 4:20 Somewhere,” a parody of Jimmy Buffet’s tune. The design was printed as full-color direct to garment. For this design, I tried a new technique: instead of inking the design, I just scanned in my pencil drawing (which was done on paper) and colored the piece underneath the pencils. I’m pretty happy with the result – it gives it a more realistic, and vibrant, and softer feel.
T-Shirt illustration I created of a mutated Chem Dawg with three heads for a marijuana-themed apparel line. Each shirt in the collection celebrates a different strain. The client wanted me to illustrate a big crazy mutated, and glowing dog standing in a spilled container of toxic waste. I thought it would be funny to have each of the three heads to be a different dog breed with a different personality. More to come in this series! This design was created for direct-to-garment silk-screening.
T-Shirt illustration I created for a marijuana-themed apparel line. Each shirt in the collection celebrates a different strain. This was the first design, called “Sour Diesel,” in which we depicted a bunch of Sour Patch Kids hi-jacking a big diesel truck. I had the idea of putting a melted sour patch kid on the grill of the truck. More to come in this series!

T-Shirt design I created of an illustrated lion wearing a crown of amber colored wax, for the marijuana-related apparel brand Concentrated Apparel. This design was set up for silk-screening, 4-colors.

Logo and mascot design I created for a marijuana themed printing business called Kush Canvas. The client asked me to create a friendly character made from a leafy bud. I designed the logo in three different versions: one-color, simple-color, and full-color, so that it could be used in many different applications.
Custom t-shirt design illustration of two MMA fighters in a comic book style, designed for the MMA apparel brand, Bad Matchup. We’re both very pleased with how this turned out.
Custom mascot character design I created of a friendly marijuana seed for a lifestyle brand in Australia. Designed for T-Shirts, stickers, and other products. This character is named Seedy, and he’s a pretty cool guy once you get to know him. Just don’t ever lend him money.
I was very excited to work on this T-Shirt design because it was so unlike anything I had worked on before. The concept and subject matter, was quite different for me, and I enjoyed the opportunity. The design was also limited to only two colors, which presented its own challenges, and forced me to have to rely on the line-art alone to tell the story. We were very pleased
Check out this parody T-Shirt for Marijuana Zombie, featuring Cheech and Chong from Up In Smoke as zombies. Even after death these guys know how to party. Produced in two different color schemes, for a dark and light shirt. Set up for silk-screening, four colors.
The shirt is available for purchase at www.marijuanazombie.com.
