Series of illustrations I created for a submission to Cabella’s – the snake and guns design was picked and will be available in the stores soon. It’s always a challenge for me to draw something realistic like this snake while only using a few colors (for silk-screening).Happy with how it turned out.
Silk-screen t-shirt illustration I created in tribute to the legendary Cheech and Chong from Up In Smoke with the characters as weed-eating, brain-smoking zombies.
I drew this artwork in Clip Studio Paint (Manga Studio 5) with a Wacom Cintiq. This is inspired by an illustration I created years ago – I wanted to test out my new skills, and design something that was more fitting for a t-shirt and filled out the front more (the previous design was too square). I also wasn’t happy with the likeness of the characters in the first design, so I drew everything from the ground up, and added a lot of elements from the films and really tried to do my best to capture the spirit of these marijuana legends.
I was hired by a fabric pot manufacturer for growing plants to create a t-shirt for their conventions featuring this hipster bear character we came up with, holding one of their fabric pots. They wanted something that displayed their product in a way that people would want to wear, even if they weren’t familiar with the product. This was printed with direct-to-garment full-color printing. They were kind enough to send me a shirt, and it turned out great!
Fun limited color silkscreen t-shirt I created for a Shrimp Gumbo festival in Alabama featuring a handsome shrimp serenading a beautiful shrimps and the rest of the beach-goers.
The design was a fun challenge because the client liked my colorful full-color beach designs, and wanted something similar. But we could only use a limited silk-screen palette. I used halftones to cheat on some colors. We chose to draw the scene at night to make it unique to the previous year’s designs.

I was hired by the app developer Butterscotch Shenanigans to create a silk-screen t-shirt celebrating their insanely popular adventure game Crashlands. My art style fit perfectly with the brand’s over-the-top style and freaky characters. It was a fun challenge to try to find a way to replicate the colorful style of the game while using only a small number of silk-screen colors.

I was hired by a fabric pot manufacturer for growing plants to create a t-shirt for their conventions. They wanted something that displayed their product in a way that people would want to wear, even if they weren’t familiar with the product. Naturally, I went with a skull. The design was set up for limited color silk-screen (I believe 4 colors). They were kind enough to send me a shirt, and it turned out great!
Silk-screen poster illustration of a happy Loch Ness Monster I created for the band Lochness Monster. I had a blast working on this. The band gave me a ton of freedom on this design, and I came up with the idea of having the Loch Ness Monster looking friendly, with a severed arm dangling from its mouth, and the collected trophy/cameras of tourists hung around his neck. He’s an elusive fella! The design was set up for silk-screening using around 5 colors, created primarily for promotional posters and apparel for the band.
Client Testimonial:
They look awesome!! Thanks, really great job on this!!
The News Junkie, a news blog and radio show, hired me to illustrated a silk-screen t-shirt design to be used in their marketing and giveaways. They wanted an illustration that fit the slogan “Dangerous to Listen To,” to play on the idea that their news stories are often filled with chaos and danger. After sketching a couple of concepts, we came up with this idea to have a flood of dangerous items like swords, knives, and rabid dogs bursting from a guy’s headphones. Silk-screened with four colors and a whole lot of death and destruction.

Your final product is amazing and you were the easiest, most on-schedule, most creative designer we have worked with

I was thrilled to be hired to create artwork for a new line of apparel for Smith & Wesson, featuring silk-screen illustrations of big angry eagles. It was a really fun challenge drawing the eagles, which I’ve always found difficult. Need to invest in a pet eagle for reference. The designs all needed to stay under six colors, which is always a challenge as soon as you introduce an american flag into the design (which eats up three colors right away). I used halftones wherever I could to limit the total number of colors.
The designs will be available in Smith & Wesson’s catalog, as well as in many retailers, such as Cabela’s.

Custom t-shirt design illustration of two MMA fighters in a comic book style. The client was limited to only a few colors for silk-screening, so I had to find a way to create a very detailed design with only 3 colors. We’re both very pleased with how this turned out.

I was very satisfied with the final results. I will be working with Brian again very soon.
T-Shirt zombie illustration I created for the Mexico City heavy metal band, Straying From Madness.
The illustration was designed to fit their current brand image I designed, which is based on creepy but colorful and fun zombie characters. This design was set up for silk-screening. Four colors.
Custom T-Shirt Illustration I created for 80s Tees.com, featuring an unlikely team-up of Cobra (GI Joe) and the Decepticons (Transformers). It was a really fun challenge to illustrated so many characters (Cobra Commander, Baroness, Storm Shadow, Destro, Starscream, Megatron, and Trypticon) while only using a handful of silk screen colors (I believe this was four colors). We chose a dark color scheme highlighted with oranges and blues. Love how this turned out.
