Berzerk is a logo I created for a Russ group. The logo features a man wrestling a bear in the mountains. The design was for apparel and a vehicle wrap for the russefeiring tradition. If you haven’t heard of it, basically russefeiring involves an entire class of Norwegian students renting a bus (a Russebuss), painting every inch of it with really cool street art, and then partying in it night and day for an entire month during graduation. The different classes wear their designs ever where they go as they clash with rival classes. I’ve done a bunch of these now, and really enjoy it. Back when real men wore capes, we all witnessed The Ultimate Male vs The Ultimate Meatball fight in Rocky 3. For this design, I wanted to illustrate what Thunderlips’ fight poster might have looked like.

Blue Chip Athletics hired me to create this customize-able wrestling singlet apparel template they could offer to their different teams. I set up the design so that the team colors were easily modifiable and could be printed in limited color silk-screen to save cost. They were really thrilled with the result.

Bluechip Athletics hired me to design and illustrate graphics for their Aggression apparel line for wrestlers. The first design was this evil gargoyle perched on a rooftop in a storm. Since the wrestling singlets are printed with dye-sublimation, I could design in full-color, and cover every inch of the fabric.
I was hired by a wrestling club to design a mascot for their apparel and website. Luckily, their mascot was one of the gnarliest creatures of the animal kingdom: the honey-badger. We explored a few different sketch variations, and came up with this view, with the Honey-Badger reaching toward the viewer. I provided a full-color version for direct-to-garment printing and web use, as well as a simplified version for silk-screening.
